The AAI Quality Committee was founded in May 2005 with the main purpose to establish a platform for the coordination of all activities within the Austrian Aeronautic Industries related to Quality Management, particularly to the EN9100 Standard for “Aerospace Quality Management Systems”. All members of AAI are entitled to nominate their quality experts for the AAI-QC.
One of the first activities of the AAI-QC was the foundation of the AAI-RMS (Regional Management Structure). The AAI-AAB (Auditor Authentication Board), which was initially established as part of this structure, has been transferred as of 15.06.2026 to the central AAB within IAQG and is no longer managed at national level.
